Self-driving cars: Waymo teams with Lyft in race with Uber, GM, Tesla, Apple

Google-owned self-driving car company Waymo is accelerating its fight with Uber confirming that it’s partnering with Lyft to roll out self-driving cars to the public. Waymo does autonomous car testing in Chandler and the East Valley. Uber also does self-driving car testing here as does General Motors which focuses its testing in Scottsdale. Tesla Motors (NYSE: TSLA), Intel Corp. (Nasdaq: INTC) and Apple Inc. (Nasdaq: AAPL) are also in the self-driving car race. Intel and Apple have footprints… ...
