Fixing the Vikings Beyond 2017

Training camps are now underway around the NFL. That being said, it is unlikely that any huge changes will occur on any rosters outside of veteran cuts. Now it is time to look ahead at 2018 offseason for the Minnesota Vikings , more specifically the draft. Every NFL team has holes. Why not go ahead and look at possible prospects to fill those holes? There is also the risk of losing older veterans to retirement at the end of the season which opens even more holes. So we will look at five college prospects that can step in next season to fill these needs in Minnesota. Connor Williams , OT, Texas : Connor Williams is an absolute beast. The Vikings added Mike Remmers and Riley Reiff in free agency, but they need to get younger on the line. Williams will probably be the first lineman off the board, and for good reason. If Minnesota has a high pick, he just may be the guy to replenish that offensive line.
