The Loews Regency San Francisco is known for many of the things that a top luxury hotel should be, which is why the Loews Corporation strategically bought it from the Mandarin Oriental last year. It’s in the heart of the city’s financial district, five blocks from the Embarcadero waterfront, has a killer spa, and hands down the best hotel room views of the Bay Area skyline. I also love being called “Mr. Taylor” when the Loews bartender is serving up a $300 glass of Remy Martin Louis XIII cognac—one of only two places in San Francisco to do so.
