Jim Harbaugh: College football’s headline thief

Regardless of your opinion of him, there’s no disputing that Jim Harbaugh has brough relevancy back to the college Football offseason. The Michigan head coach has dominated nearly every aspect of the intermittent period between the end of last season and the first kickoff of 2016-17. Everything he’s spoken about has engrossed a national audience. We were astonished by his “Signing of the Stars” event on National Signing Day, when he brought legends like Ric Flair and Derek Jeter to the University of Michigan’s campus. The talks of satellite camps and Harbaugh’s not-so-subtle jabs via Twitter aimed towards SEC coaches Butch Jones and, recently, Nick Saban, have nearly ignited the South to form a militia and charge the brick walls of the Big House.
