I've had my xbox360s for about a year now, and I use this one mainly as a Windows media center. It has a LAN connection. It's connected via hdmi to a receiver, and the receiver is connected via hdmi to the TV (Samsung). Just today the console shut off on its own. When I turn it on, it goes green for about 2 seconds then automatically turns off. I know it's not a power supply issue because if I disconnect the hdmi cables, the console turns on and stays on (it also has a green light when it's on....no red lights). I swapped out hdmi cables, I tried plugging directly into the TV, I used different ports (both TV and receiver), but same thing happens. I turned off the CEC control on my tv, too...it didn't help. Any time the hdmi cable is plugged into any device (even if the other device is off), the console will shut off. I unplugged everything except the power supply, I turn on the console, and it will stay on and run fine UNTIL I plug in an hdmi cable (connected to any device), then it shuts off after a couple of seconds. Any help is much appreciated! ...
