Lessons From Discovery's $100 Million Deal With Thrillist And Digital Brethren

As I noted recently in Forbes, everybody’s always looking for the “big idea.” With the announcement of Discovery Communications’ $100 million investment in a newly formed consortium of digital media publishers, we clearly see one enduring big idea: Bigger is Better. Beyond that, what else should we take away from this blend of traditional and digital media?
