Coach Dave Rose’s BYU Basketball team has gotten a head start on its resolution to shoot more effectively, and more efficiently, from 3-point range, just in time for its first true road game of the season. Having gone 9 of 14 from beyond the arc in Thursday’s 89-59 pummeling of Santa Clara at the Marriott Center, the offensively evolving Cougars will play Saturday at Loyola Marymount in a New Year’s Eve matinee at Gersten Pavilion. Tipoff is at 2 p.m. MST as BYU waits until the final day of 2016...
