When I was 6 my father took me and my brother to our first college Basketball game, at Carmichael Auditorium. Some here know me as a typically fulminating NC State alumnus, but Mom and Dad went to UNC, so I grew up Carolina. I decided I needed a favorite player, and so I chose Al Wood, the best Tar Heel on the team. When we got home I told Dad I wanted to write him a letter. Read more... ...
