In Forum: Mac OS X By User: louisw3 disk like CD or hard disk? they hare all UFS but the specification constantly drifted in the post OPENSTEP eras, and heck even the Darwin 0.3 boot blocks can't read a Rhapsody DR-2 disk. It's a bit of a mess. Linux can probably mount it with its UFS support, and others can with that user mode UFS based on the Linux one. Honestly NeXT based UFS stuff is a nightmare. No doubt things have been so much better on HFS+ ...
