How the Greenspan and Bernanke Fed Blew and Deflated Bubbles

The Federal Reserve has a long history of creating aggregate demand bubbles. This was true during the era of Greenspan and Bernanke. Leading up to the Lehman Brothers’ bankruptcy in September 2008, the Fed not only created an aggregate demand bubble, but also facilitated market-specific bubbles.
