Michael C. Carlos Museum Works on Paper Gallery, Level One Saturday, December 2, 2017, 10 – 11:30 a.m. A wonderful image of Baseball legend Hank Aaron, joyful expression on his face, is featured in the exhibition 'And Something Magical Happened': Baseball Photographs by Walter Iooss . Young children will see the photograph of “Hammerin Hank” and learn about the challenges he faced on and off the field from Peter Golenbock’s book, Brave in Every Way . After the story, children will apply the traditional red stitching to paper baseballs. For ages 3-5 with accompanying adult.
