Baseball Riverside City College 4, Palomar 3: Joseph Hodapp went 2 for 4 as Riverside City College (2-1) defeated Palomar on the road in nonconference action. Hodapp was one of four Tigers with a RBI. Jacob Barham scored two runs, while Reginald Coleman went 2 for 5 with a RBI. MEN’S GOLF UC Riverside finishes 11th: The Highlanders finished in 11th place at the Pepperdine Waves Invitational in the Saticoy Country Club. UC Riverside finished with a score of 952 (324, 326, 302), while the Pepperdine Waves finished with 877 (297, 297, 283) to get the first place victory. SOFTBALL Chaffey 1, Riverside City College 0: The Tigers opened the season with a nonconference loss at home to the Chaffey College Panthers (3-0). The Panthers scored a solo homerun in the third to get the victory. RCC’s Synphony Hall scattered six hits and struck out five in x innings. Meanwhile, Kailee Gilbert went 2-for-3 with a pair of doubles in the one-run loss. Teammate Kayla Giannatasio also doubled. MEN’S TENNIS Riverside City College 6, Bakersfield 3: The Tigers extended their winning-streak to two after defeating Bakersfield College in a nonconference match at home. Riverside will host Mt.
