Baseball Riverside City College 8, Grossmont 3: Pitcher Daniel Martinez did not allow a hit until two outs in the fourth-inning in the final game of a two-game series against the Grossmont College Griffins. His performance helped the Tigers get the nonconference victory. Martinez scattered three hits and struck out five in six innings. Diego Guerrero finished with an RBI and a run scored. He also went 3-for-4 at the plate to mark his second-consecutive game with a three-hit line. Fullerton 3, San Bernardino Valley 2: The Wolverines fell on the road to the Fullerton College Hornets to extend their losing-streak to two. Nathanial Sisk went 2-for-3 with a RBI, while Matthew Glover went 2-for-4 at the plate. Glover and Jacob Johnson each scored a run for SBVC (1-3). La Sierra splits two: The Golden Eagles fell 9-6 in game one of a doubleheader against Bethesda University of California, but won the second game 10-8. La Sierra (6-3) will face Westmont College on the road Feb. 6 at 2 p.m. University of Redlands 7, Cal State Dominguez Hills 2. WOMEN’S BASKETBALL Palomar 87, Mt. San Jacinto 82: The Eagles fell to Palomar College in a Pacific Coast Athletic Conference game on the road. Britney Thomas led the Eagles with 29 points off 11-for-18 shooting from the field.
