Thursday Morning Brews: Naturally

Jim Harbaugh loves to have his fun, abroad Happy Thursday, folks. Welcome to Morning Brews. This morning we’re catching up on mid-week Baseball and softball, and talking a bit about the football team’s trip to France. I hear they have some mighty fine wine over there, but I’m sure the guys didn’t spend all of their time in restaurants. As usual, there is a song referenced in this morning’s article. Let’s get to it: Baseball tops Eastern Michigan, twice . In mid-week Baseball action, Michigan got started on its new win streak. On Tuesday, the Wolverines topped the Eagles by the score of 6-4. On Wednesday, Michigan cruised to a 12-5 win behind a 7-run fifth inning. The team is now 27-13 (12-2) on the year. They’ll be back in action this weekend with a series against Rutgers. All three games will be broadcast on BTN Plus. Softball splits mid-week games . On Tuesday, Michigan never really got the offense going and they lost a head scratcher to a .500-ish Western Michigan squad by the score of 8-2. On Wednesday, the Wolverines bounced back with a run-rule shortened win over Michigan State, 8-0. The team is now 41-9 (16-2) on the year.
