"I’m not sure if it’s me or it’s them!”, sighed a coaching client (let’s call her Pat). She was exasperated. She had just come from a meeting where she had tried to express her point of view repeatedly and had not been heard. This doesn’t mean no one heard her. They heard her, but just glossed over what she said. Her voice and influence did not get traction with a group of mostly men who were senior to her.
