Foxconn, the Taiwanese manufacturer which produces Apple’s iPhone, has announced plans to almost entirely automate its Chinese factories. The company has stated that it has a three-stage plan to introduced in-house robotic units ("Foxbots") that will eventually lead to “only a minimal number of workers assigned for production, logistics, testing, and inspection processes”. ...
