IT was a day, and a match, which has gone down in Swansea City FC's folklore. It was in May, 2003, when James Thomas scored a priceless hat-trick for the Swans against Hull in their last game of the season, to preserve their Football league status. It was the start of a journey which saw them fight their way back to the top flight of the English game and the Premier League – regardless of their current precarious travails.
