Microsoft Releases Update for Windows 10 Offline Maps

Microsoft has released an important update for the offline mapping data available on Windows 10, trying to focus on some specific regions that users might want to navigate without an Internet connection. Specifically, this new update makes it possible for users in Algeria to get navigation instructions without the need for Internet connection, so if you live in the country, you can download the maps when on Wi-Fi and then use them on the go with no Internet coverage. Additionally, Belarus is also getting improved data for the Minks area, while some other locations, including Cocos Island, Christmas Island, and Norfolk Island received navigable maps. Microsoft also focused specifically on overhauling transit information provided by its maps app, so with this update, users in the Netherlands, Denmark, and Norway are getting full national transit coverage.
