By Herbie Teope, NOLA.com | The Times-Picayune The New Orleans Saints used their final draft pick in the sixth round of the 2017 NFL Draft with the selection of Miami defensive end Al-Quadin Muhammad (196th overall). The 6-foot-3, 253-pound Muhammad had seven sacks on his career as a Hurricane, but also dealt with suspensions. According to NFL.com, Muhammad was suspended for the 2014 season after being involved in an altercation after the team's spring game. He was then dismissed from the program while being part of an NCAA investigation along with teammate Jermaine Grace for allegedly receiving illicit benefits from a car rental company. In two seasons at Miami, Muhammad totaled 60 tackles (39 solo), a pass defensive and a forced fumble to go along with the seven sacks.
