FALL RIVER — Five-dozen brand new Baseball bats, produced by Fall River-based Axis Bats, are on their way to hurricane-ravaged Houston. Louis Ledoux, the owner and operator of Axis Bats, located at 18 Pocasset St., recently teamed with officers in the Fall River Police Department’s Special Operations Division to send the locally manufactured bats to Houston police officers who operate a local youth Baseball league. Fall River police Sgt.
