The business and tech press tend to focus on a few people at the top of the tech pyramid such as Mark Zuckerberg... Some of the more interesting lessons seem to emerge from wealthy techies in Silicon Valley like Savoia, Ries and Blank, who have had both incredible successes and incredible flops.
