The World Series continues on Wednesday night — with the Los Angeles Dodgers playing host once against to the Houston Astros in a pivotal Game 2. The Dodgers took the opener on Tuesday night 3-1 thanks to a key two-run blast by Justin Turner . Starter Clayton Kershaw was magnificent, and the L.A. offense gave him just enough support to give the Dodgers the early series lead. With the way Houston has been playing at Minute Maid Park, though, L.A. might do well to take advantage while they are at home. It’s a crucial game for Houston too, which needs another prolific outing from Justin Verlander — who has undoubtedly been the star of the 2017 playoffs. The former Tigers ace has already posted four wins (four of Houston’s six overall) in the postseason. It’s hard to see Houston winning this series without Verlander notching victory number five on Wednesday. Verlander opposes Rich Hill of the Dodgers on the mound. First pitch is at 8:09 p.m. ET. The game will air on Fox. Joe Buck and John Smoltz have the call. The action can be streamed free with a cable subscription on pc, cell phone, or tablet via Fox Sports Go — which can be downloaded via the iTunes store, and the Google Play store.
