KT Racing talked WRC 9 during Gamescom

GamesCom may be digital this year, but that doesn’t mean it hasn’t brought some interesting goods. This is especially true for those who enjoy rally racing games, as KT Racing — the developers of soon-to-be-released WRC 9 — talked passionately about the new features that are coming to their newest car-based game. WRC 9 is expected to have a longer lifespan than its predecessors, thanks to several free updates. It will also introduce a new Clubs mode, which allows players to create and share their own championships. Furthermore, the general experience has been updated once again (as one should expect), to make the handling, driving and simulation factors more realistic and enjoyable. The 2020 WRC season has had a number of changes due to the pandemic. Several rallies were cancelled, including three iconic countries that are featured in the game for the first time. This is a chance for fans to console themselves and try out three new circuits. The legendary Rally Kenya with its exotic landscapes alternating between wide-open savannah and small villages with very narrow roads New Zealand, a very technical gravel rally with multiple bends in quick succession Japan, a rally on asphalt based in Nagoya with narrow mountain roads WRC 9 will hit PC first, on the third of September, and will do so via the Epic Games Store. Then, on the 8th of that month, it will come to Xbox One and PS4. Don’t worry if those versions aren’t of interest, ...
