INDIANAPOLIS, IND. – People across Central Indiana are mourning the loss of four teen boys from Brownsburg who died in a tragic car crash in Morgan County Wednesday night. “They were all so innocent, such great people. It is tragic,” says friend of the victims Patrick Rose. The four students attended Brownsburg High School and Harris Academy and were identified by police as 18-year-old Lucas Kenworthy and 17-year-old’s Riley Hurst, Noah Tex, and Matthew Chambers…who was driving. “It kind of feels like a bad dream that I have not woken up from yet,” says friend of the victims Caleb Hagemeier. Police say none of the boys were wearing a seatbelt except for 22-yearold Ryan Rickenbacker from Brownsburg who survived the crash. Police say they hit a minivan, carrying parents and their two young daughters. That family is okay. Noah and Matthew were both employees of Dawson’s Too Restaurant in Brownsburg and Rickenbacker was a former employee. Matthew was scheduled to work tonight. “It is going to be the same as losing any other family member. It is going to hurt everyone in the restaurant,” says Rose. Police are investigating what caused the Ford Taurus to cross over the center line and into oncoming traffic.
