Congratulations! On Monday, it was announced that Rupert Murdoch and his love Jerry Hall are officially engaged. Aww! Though, what's shocking to us, is that the former model and the media mogul only first stepped out as an item a handful of months ago. Apparently, the A-listers have been dating since this past summer. Whoa! Supposedly, The News Corp. tycoon and the actress were set up by Murdoch's family. Hmm, very inneresting ! Related: Rosie Huntington-Whiteley & Jason Statham Are Engaged In an announcement in The Times , the couple shared: "Mr. Rupert Murdoch and Miss Jerry Hall / Mr. Rupert Murdoch, father of Prudence , Elisabeth , Lachlan , James , Grace and Chloe Murdoch , and Miss Jerry Hall, mother of Elizabeth , James , Georgia and Gabriel Jagger , are delighted to announce their engagement." Well that's that. Still, the soon to be married couple attended the Golden Globes but Miz Hall was sans an engagement ring. You'd think Rupert would be able to shell out some cash for a pretty hefty diamond, right?? Who knows, maybe they were just waiting until the formal announcement. LOLz! It's not like the twosome are newbies to high profile relationships. In case you forgot, Jerry was once Mick Jagger 's lady for MANY years and Rupert has been married three times prior.
