With the SEC and Big 12's best teams headed to the College Football Playoff, this year's Sugar Bowl will match up the runners-up in each conference. Here's how you can watch the game online: Time: 8:30 p.m. ET Jan. 1 Streaming: WatchESPN Ole Miss nearly won the SEC West, thanks to an early-season win over Alabama, but a blowout loss to Florida and a last-second loss to Arkansas prevented the Rebels from reaching the SEC Championship Game for a rematch with Will Grier-less Florida, with the potential to win the whole conference. However, it was still a good year for the Rebels, who will go to their second New Year's Six Bowl in two years. Oklahoma State started out the season 10-0 and looked to be in the Playoff conversation. However, the Cowboys fizzled out as the schedule got tougher, losing their final two games by double digits at home to Baylor and Oklahoma. OSU benefited from a fairly weak schedule, but the offense, behind star quarterback Mason Rudolph, is legit. That Cowboy offense could get even more dangerous for Ole Miss, with star linebacker Denzel Nkemdiche and star defensive end Robert Nkemdiche both out for this game.
