WASHINGTON – Things are heating up ahead of Super Tuesday. On Friday, New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie endorsed Donald Trump’s presidential bid at a press conference in Texas. At the news conference, Christie said there is no one better prepared to lead the country in the Republican race, adding that Trump is “rewriting the playbook of American politics.” “It is my great honor to receive the endorsement of the Governor. We have had a wonderful relationship for many years. He is a solid person that I have tremendous respect for. I am really proud to receive the support of the Governor and his family,” Trump said in a statement. Christie dropped out of the race after a disappointing finish in New Hampshire.
