ST. GEORGE — Despite a 37-21 loss to Springville Friday night, the Dixie flyers had something to be proud of; the play from their leader. Malakai Fakahua is the unquestioned on-the-field coach of the Flyer defense. The three-year starter is an extension of the coaches on the field. The players respect him and know that he will help any of them if needed. Fakahua is a senior middle linebacker for the Flyers. He's also the student body vice-president and has a 4.0 GPA.
