Yet another sport dominated by the Americans! Today at the Olympics , the US men's basketball team ran away with the gold medal, enjoying a 30-point win over Serbia and continuing to assert themselves as the best basketball nation in the world (especially after the US women won gold yesterday, too!). The 96-66 win for the men today might have been a bit anticlimactic, but the most touching, poignant moment of the hoops tournament -- and one of the better moments of the entire Olympics -- turned out to be star forward Carmelo Anthony 's reaction to the gold medal. The hoops star, who plays for the New York Knicks in the NBA , got very emotional when speaking with reporters after the game! See, Anthony was part of the US men's 2004 Olympic team that disappointingly won a bronze medal, the only time the US did NOT win a gold since 1992. Driven from that embarrassment, Anthony won gold as a member of the US men's team in 2008, 2012, and now, 2016 -- and as he announced on Saturday, this is it for him!
