Vote for Doug Baldwin in the NFL Network’s Tournament of Catches semifinals

The NFL Network has taken advantage of the March Madness bracket craze by creating a Tournament of Catches, run by former Seahawks wide receiver Nate Burleson. Out of thirty-two spectacular receptions, three Seahawks players were nominated in two different regions. Jimmy Graham vs. Jets (Helmet Catch Region) Doug Baldwin vs. 49ers (Helmet Catch Region) Paul Richardson vs. Lions (Sea of Hands Region) Voters pushed Jimmy Graham to the second round over a Cole Beasley touchdown snag in a game against the Ravens . Graham’s run would end at the hands of his teammate Doug Baldwin, who bested the Jared Cook sideline catch vs. Dallas in the NFC Divisional Round, and then blew out Graham’s one-hander by a 70-30 margin. Baldwin squeaked past A.J. Green’s Hail Mary touchdown 52-48 to make his way to the semifinals. On the opposite side of the bracket, Paul Richardson comfortably breezed by Michael Crabtree’s touchdown vs. the Charger s in round one, then triumphed over Patrick Peterson’s one-handed INT vs. Buffalo in round two, but was edged out 54-46 by Julian Edelman’s damn near impossible moment of heroism . So now it’s come down to the Final Four. Baldwin is the lone Seahawks representative. His opponent is Julio Jones. You may remember this play from that Super Bowl where the Falcons blew a 28-3 lead.
