Join me for a short walk in the Grampians...a lovely Wilderness area at the extreme Southern end of the long and rugged mountain range that stretches along the Eastern edge of Australia all the way from Northern Queensland to Western Victoria. We will take a circular route, somewhat marked, that will include the extraordinary Hollow Mountain. We will pass by some of Australia's [and the World's] best and most challenging rock climbing routes. We will be led by my son Ben, a skilled and knowledgeable Mountain Climber who knows this country well and will be unfazed when the trail vanishes. Also with us will be Ben's partner, Naomi, my son Jacob with his wife Tes [seven months pregnant, but very fit and agile] and their one year old daughter Zuri, and Na with Mawin. Jacob and Tes will accompany us for just the first couple of hours. This will be the first experience of trekking in rough country for Na and Mawin. Except for our Group, there will be no-one to get in the way of photo-opportunities, so bring your cameras. ...
