“Monday Night Football” was the No. 1 show on cable in the week of Oct. 9, as it usually is in the fall. Its 3.7 rating among adults 18-49 and 10.36 million viewers led a very sports-heavy week in the rankings. NFL, college football and Baseball playoff games and related programming take up 10 of the top 12 and 18 spots overall (including ties) in the top 25 among adults 18-49. They also occupy more than half the total-viewer chart.
