Apple ( AAPL ) and General Electric ( GE ) on Wednesday announced a pact to harness the predictive data and analytical capabilities of GE's industrial internet platform via iPhone and iPad apps. The new Predix SDK for iOS will be available to download on Oct. 26, the companies said in a joint statement. Shares of Apple were unchanged at 160.47 on the stock market today , while GE added 0.2% to 23.23.
