iPhone X seemingly spotted out in the wild ahead of public release

With excitement building for the official launch of the iPhone X, new images uploaded to Reddit claim to have spotted the unreleased Apple device out in the wild on the Seoul Metropolitan Subway in South Korea, appearing to show a user reading iMessages and accessing the calendar publicly on the busy subway system. While we’re unable to verify the authenticity of the images, tracking data such as Google Analytics often picks up unreleased software and hardware versions in a range of geographic locations, with The Apple Post spotting versions of iOS 11 reading Apple Park articles ahead of the WWDC in June, so it’s not uncommon for Apple to publicly test unreleased devices. It doesn’t appear any attempt has been made to cover/conceal the device which is something Apple surely insists all of their testers must do, hinting that it’s possible this could be a set up to trick eager iPhone enthusiast. iPhone X The iPhone X, pronounced “iPhone Ten”, features a 5.8-inch Super Retina OLED edge-to-edge display with 2436 x 1125 resolution and 458ppi, HDR support, Dolby Vision, HDR10, and True Tone.
