Today is World Mental Health Day 2017, this year celebrating 50 years. To mark the occasion, a Celebration Stall will be held in Perth, Western Australia (WA). Set in Perth CBD's busiest shopping mall, this annual awareness stall connects thousands of people with a range of community mental health services.
With a wealth of current information on offer, this stall is staffed by mental health sector professionals and includes a range of activities and giveaways, live music and a stack of other fun.
Other activities include:
- helping to create a community canvas and painting activities for the young at heart
- coffee van, courtesy of ‘Strong Spirit Strong Mind’, with free wi-fi and bean bags to chill out
- interactive booth from Helping Minds.
The event is sponsored by Rise.
