A trip to Hawaii for the Pro Bowl should be rewarding for NFL players because it means that they are being honored for being the best of the best that season. For Baltimore Ravens linebacker Elvis Dumervil , his trip to Hawaii could not have gone much worse. Dumervil had initially been named as a Pro Bowl alternate, which means that he would only go if other players at his position either pulled out because of injury or had to miss the game because their respective team made the Super Bowl. It wasn't until after the conference championship games had been played last Sunday that the veteran found out he had been selected to his fifth Pro Bowl. As Ryan Mink of BaltimoreRavens .com found out, that's when things started getting crazy for the Ravens star. Even though he had already gone into "offseason mode," Dumervil was more than happy to alter his plans to take part in the Pro Bowl. But getting to Hawaii would not prove to be easy. Dumervil first had to take a train from New York to Baltimore to get some things for his trip to Hawaii. Last weekend was also when Winter Storm Jonas buried the Northeast in snow, meaning flying east to west was not easy. However, the 32-year-old was able to fly from Baltimore to Minneapolis, Minneapolis, to Los Angeles and then from Los Angeles to Hawaii. The good news was Dumervil escaped a historic snowstorm for a beach. The bad news was his bag didn 't make it to Hawaii with him. Here's how Dumervi ...
