Ex Baseball player Bret Boone wins today’s idiot award. Boone thought it would be a good idea to slide into the DM’s of a reporter to mock sexual harassment. Unless you’ve been living under a rock, you can’t escape the wave of women coming forward reporting sexual harassment claims. Apparently Boone doesn’t appreciate all the harassment claims being made and is mocking the alleged victims. If you read his tweets you can see what he’s doing. His attempt at a “joke” is disgusting, ill timed and highlights the patriarchal society that this type of unwanted and criminal behavior stems from.
