Frontman Eddie Vedder has frequently been seen wearing Cubbie attire, in 2014 he threw out the first pitch at a game, and at Game 4 of the NLDS this year, he caught the ceremonial opening pitch from ex-Cubs pitcher Rick Sutcliffe. The event took place the year the Cubs won the World Series for the first time since 1908. To celebrate the film, the band has created an 8-bit online video game. The game is basically a home run derby and fans begin by choosing which member of Pearl Jam they’d like to be.
