Its been a magical week for the Houston Astros. They won their first World Series title on Wednesday, returned home to Houston for a Texas size celebration before visiting the Most Magical Place on Earth on Saturday. Astros star players George Springer (World Series MVP), All-Star shortstop Carlos Correa and American League batting champion Jose Altuve kept the party rolling in front of thousands of enthusiastic fans who lined one of the most famous streets in the world Main Street, U.S.A, at Magic Kingdom Park. The trio of players who form the nucleus of the World Champion Astros got a one-of-a-kind ride atop a magical parade float surrounded by a sea of Astros fans, balloons, confetti and celebratory cheers. According to Correa, Saturday at Walt Disney World Resort was a day hell never forget. Its been an amazing day, said Correa. I feel like a kid all over again getting to go to Disney World and spending time with all these people here who are supporting us and celebrating the (World Series) championship with us. I will never forget the people cheering and crying during the parade. It was the best thing ever and a memory I will never forget. Saturdays spectacular Disney scene was the culmination of a long-awaited dream for the Astros and the city of Houston which supported the team to its first World Series title in 56 years.
