The Phillies on Friday announced two new hires in the front office. Sam Fuld, who retired from playing Baseball Friday after a nine-year major league career with the Cubs, Rays, Athletics and Twins, was named the Phils’ new major league information coordinator. And Ben Werthan, who worked as advance scouting coordinator with the Orioles for the past six years, is the new minor league information coordinator.
