In that time, he gave up 3 runs, but none of them were earned. In McQuary’s 3.0 innings, he struck out a pair of the Colonels’ batters while only allowing 1 run. At the plate, Mississippi State had no shortage of hits or runs and it started early. Josh Hatcher scored the first run of the day with a ground out RBI, bringing Jake Mangum home.
