Nina Schultz wins Big 12 high jump title Baseball Kansas State won its fourth straight game yesterday, beating Old Dominion 11-5 . For the second time in a row, the bats came alive and propelled the Wildcats to victory. Eight BatCats drove in at least one run, with Drew Mount having three RBIs (including his third homer of the last four games) as Kansas State scored 10 runs in the first five innings. Starter Gabe Littlejim notched his first win of the season. He pitched six innings without giving up a walk, and managed four strikeouts. Kansas State will wrap up the series today with the last game against ODU in Norfolk. The game is already underway with senior Justin Heskett pitching. Basketball Things did not go as planned for the surging Wildcats, as Kansas State could not stop a three-point barrage from Oklahoma —including six from Trae Young—and lost 86-77 in Norman. The loss—not really expected—drops the Wildcats to 9-7 in Big 12 play and snaps a three-game winning streak. On a day when both teams connected on 29 field goals, shooting from beyond the arc made all the difference. The Sooners could not miss, while the Wildcats shot just 19.0 percent from the three-point line. Barry Brown had 28 points on 12-of-21 shooting, while Dean Wade had his fifth career double-double (15 points, 11 rebounds), his fourth of the season.
