Keighley is back. Without a single hardware manufacturer announcing plans for a press conference at this year's GamesCom convention in Cologne, Germany, everybody's favourite Geoff Keighley decided to step in and put on his own show. Dubbed GamesCom Opening Night Live , the inaugural conference was so successful that the man himself has just taken to Twitter to announce "a new, multi-year partnership" for the convention. Best known recently for planning and hosting The Game Awards , the Hideo Kojima hype man will return in August 2020 to put on another flashy show. We have to assume that next year's event will be better than what Keighley cobbled together a few months back, which can only be described as a tribute to his very best friend.
