Earlier this year, the organizers of GamesCom revealed that the show will still be happening as a digital format . One of the things that came back from last year was Opening Night Live, a press conference similar to the E3 press conferences but focusing on the video game industry as a whole instead of one company. Earlier this week, Geoff Keighley announced some of the things that were shown such as Fall Guys Season 2, Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War , Mafia: Definitive Edition , and an extended and uninterrupted new gameplay demo of Ratchet & Clank: Drift Apart . Here is a full rundown of everything that was shown off during the event. Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War was officially revealed yesterday . It’s set to come out on November 13, 2020. The game takes place after the events of the first game and has players in 1981 as they try to deal with a threat during the Cold War. Dan Vondrak, Creative Director, Raven Software talked and revealed more details about the story including that players will create a character instead of assuming a role as in the previous titles. Vondrak also revealed that the choices that you make throughout the story will have an impact on how the story ends. A new cinematic revolving around the main antagonist of the campaign was also shared. A new game called Unknown 9: Awakening was announced.
