Apple Stops Signing iOS 10.2, Downgrades and Restores No Longer Possible

Apple has stopped signing iOS 10.2, meaning that downgrading or restoring to that firmware version is no longer possible. Closure of the signing window comes shortly after a jailbreak of iOS 10.2 was released by Luca Todesco. Hopefully, you managed to jailbreak already or save your SHSH blobs as we recommended. Currently, Apple's latest firmware is iOS 10.2.1 and developers have been seeded with iOS 10.3. If you accidentally update or restore, you'll find yourself on iOS 10.2.1. Apple releases watchOS 3.2; adds Theater Mode and SiriKit

Apple has released a new beta update for watchOS, the operating system that is powering its Watch products. The update, watchOS 3.2 beta (14V52-5d) is available for developers to check the latest features and upcoming code changes to update their apps. One thing to note is that the company has added two features, the first one is called ‘Theatre Mode’ and the other feature is called ‘SiriKit’. ‘Theatre Mode’ as hinted to arrive to iPhone as part of iOS 10.3 but we did not see any concrete proof about that expects tips on Twitter. This is the first time that Apple has officially mentioned ‘Theatre Mode’ in the official changelog but on watchOS. One thing to note is that the implementation of the theatre mode is somewhat different and it improves on the existing ‘Do not disturb’ mode already available on watchOS. The main thing is that this mode, when enabled will prevent your Apple Watch from lighting up in a dimly lit situation like a theatre, meeting or anything else unless you physically touch the wearable device. This is a far cry from the ‘Do not disturb’ mode where the screen would light up anytime you moved your arm. This feature mutes the sound of the device and users still receive the notifications including haptics feedback. (CANADIAN PRESS) — A university student accused of carrying out the horrific massacre on a mosque in Quebec City was a fan of U.S. President Donald Trump, a far right leader in France and the separatist Parti Quebecois as well as a bird and chess enthusiast, according to what appeared to be his Facebook account. A handcuffed Alexandre Bissonnette, 27, made a brief court appearance Monday at which he was arraigned on six counts of first-degree murder and five of attempted murder. Wearing a white jumpsuit, the tired-looking accused stared at his feet and fidgeted during the hearing. Bissonnette — the grandson of a decorated Second World War veteran, according to the social media profile in his name — was then remanded in custody until his next appearance Feb. 21.
