By John Helsley Staff Writer JHelsley@Oklahoman.com STILLWATER — Chris Carson bolted through a gaping hole Saturday, then dashed 26 yards untouched past UTSA's defense and into the end zone, finally revealing the breakaway threat promised by coaches and teammates throughout the preseason. Carson kept running, too, topping the 100-yard mark for the first time in an Oklahoma State uniform with 104 yards and two touchdowns on 17 carries to highlight OSU's best day yet running the Football. And the Cowboys believe and hope it's only the beginning, because they're going to keep running… one way or another, literally. Yes, we're told, the offensive line continues to make progress. Yes, we're told, Carson is settling into being a feature back at this level after arriving from junior college. And yes, we've seen, the running game looks and functions better when the passing game goes guns a-blazin'. The Cowboys are committed to running the ball; it's a Mike Gundy mantra.
