On Tuesday, the Big 12 released the conference schedule for all Big 12 teams. We take a look at Kansas State's schedule and explain which games are most watchable. On Tuesday, the Big 12 released the 2016 conference schedule, which completed Kansas State's 2016 schedule. Let's take a way too early look at the 2016 slate and rank each game's watchability/interest factor. Friday, September 2nd Stanford Stadium, Stanford CA. Kansas State at Stanford This is a HUGE game. Kansas State opens on the road, on Friday night, against a fellow Power 5 team, who happens to be ranked 9th in the most recent CFP playoff poll. Obviously, the Stanford team Kansas State plays next season will be different from the one ranked 9th, but the cache, and recognition the Wildcats will get for opening on the road on a Friday night cannot be overstated. If Kansas State finds a way to upset the Cardinal it would be a statement victory for not only the Wildcats, but the Big 12 as well. Watchability: Must see. Easily the best non-conference game Kansas State has played since Auburn in 2014. Saturday, September 17th Bill Snyder Family Stadium, Manhattan KS Florida Atlantic at Kansas State A bye week follows the Stanford game, before Kansas State returns home to face Florida Atlantic.
