Serendipity means a ‘fortunate happenstance’ or ‘pleasant surprise’ and it was certainly serendipitous that I recently happened to come across a pair of headphones from Dutch electronics giant Philips. I’ve listened to Philips headphones in the past but they’ve never been particularly expensive but neither have they been particularly notable. Serendipity has changed my opinion.
