Earlier today, it was announced that Fox News analyst and conservative radio host Monica Crowley had been tapped by President-elect Donald Trump to be part of his national security council, joining up with another former Fox News alum, KT McFarland . Fox News terminated Crowley’s contract earlier in the day. Well, considering all of the discussion about Russian hacking and its influence in the election, one of Crowley’s old tweets might come back to bite her in her new position. I guess Putin is going to have to do it. Besides Trump dealing with criticism over his reaction to the CIA assessing Russia tried to influence the election to his benefit and the lack of anything negative or critical to say about Vladimir Putin , there has also been concern that some of Trump’s administration picks have been a bit too pro-Russian. Specifically, Crowley’s new boss, Michael Flynn , has had ties to Russia over the years . And Rex Tillerson , the Secretary of State selection, received the Order of Friendship award from Russia.
