Brady Muller was destined for a future in professional Baseball ever since his days of pitching at Dehler Park in Billings. He grew up in the Magic City playing legion and collegiate Baseball. Nearly two weeks ago, the southpaw had his contract with the Windy City Thunderbolts picked up by the Missoula Osprey. Muller left the Independent Frontier League with a league-best 1.36 ERA. "I can't say anything bad or complain at all," said Muller. "It's definitely different than Independent ball where I was. Affiliated ball, I like a lot better. More structure and everything." Of course, Muller's first start for the O's would come on June 22. An away game for Missoula in his old park against the Billings Mustangs. "I didn't really make anything different of it. It was just another start of my career," said Muller. "Kept with my same routine that I've been doing since I got out of college and was playing pro ball over in Chicago." Pitching coach Shane Loux has been impressed with that routine so far, saying it's a tough situation to come into, switching leagues and adjusting to a new city. But Muller, he says, has handled it beautifully. Muller, who turns 25 on Monday, knows the journey he is on could be a long one, but his mindset and willingness to get better never waivers.
